Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Fort Lauderdale, FL, as a Medical Malpractice Defense Associate. The Associate, with supervision, will be involved in all aspects of litigation, including conducting legal research, drafting briefs, managing case files, interviewing witnesses, and participating in depositions. Responsibilities will also include trial preparation and court appearances, as necessary, as well as providing strategic advice to clients. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of seasoned attorneys to deliver exceptional legal services.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing abilities
• 3-7 years experience preferred
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active member in good standing with The Florida Bar
• Prior experience in medical malpractice defense or related practice areas preferred
• Ability to handle complex cases and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
